It would be nice if Scrivener would support dual monitors such that you could have multiple document windows open at the same time. I realize that you can have multiple windows open but that just chops up your working window into a number of little windows.
You can achieve this with Scrivener 3… sort of. I haven’t tried it in the Windows Beta so it may or may not work, but it definitely does for the Mac version. You can right click on a binder item, select “Open” then “Quick Reference” and a floating window will appear which you can then drag into the the second monitor. It’s not perfect, but it’s about the best we have at the moment.
Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately my desktop is Windows based and my only Mac is an MBA. .
This works with the Windows Beta, so once Win v3 is released Windows folks who upgrade will have this feature.
Those of us using the beta have it now.
