Hi,
I would really love support for HEIC images in the Windows version of Scrivener. Images in that format are popping up everywhere nowadays and it would be great if they were usable just as currently JPG images are.
Thank you

If I’m not mistaken, I think Windows 11 already supports the HEIC form natively. On one of my devices, Paint can load and save HEIC images. So, it shouldn’t be difficult to implement.
Regards.
I don’t think Windows supports it out of the box at an OS level, but there’s an extension you can install that adds some support.

Android and iOS/macOS have support built in at an OS level, but some frameworks (such as Electron) do not currently support HEIC even there.
