Sync failure—advice

I’m guessing you are using the third-party Dropbox service to sync between your Mac and iPad.

In summary:

  1. The problem on the iPad, based on the screen shot, is that you have an incomplete sync.
  2. Try first to re-boot the iPad. This may be all that is needed. After start allow Dropbox time to complete sync.
  3. The problem could be be incomplete sync up to Dropbox, or incomplete sync down to iPad.

edit. re point 2. reboot mac also in case the Dropbox syncs failed there.
