Preface: I am new to Scrivener but I am more than impressed. And I feel ashamed that it took me so long to discover it - it’s a brilliant concept, a very macish UI. Right now I am transferring some former TextEdit and NeoOffice project into it… Finally I will regain control over my text snippets again - thanks!
My (newbie) questions:
I am writing a software manual (database solution) that includes some zillions of screen-shots. Usually I discover UI tweaks in the process of writing - so I improve the database, make a new screen-shot…
I suppose that the best way will be to link the image files to the according texts.
-
But when I “replace” an image file in the Research folder, I just get another file with the same name. Rather inconvenient … am I doing anything wrong?
-
Is there a way to (embed) a preview of a linked image? I would love to see my screen-shots in “Edit Scrivenings”…
Any hints would be great!
Thanks, Albrecht
