Is there a way i can create my own project template? As I like to add extras to the novel project such as outlines and things.

Yes Jenn.
Add the things you need to the template in question then use the save as template command. I beklieve its located in the file menu. I can’t get to Scrivener right now to check, but I will do so this evening.
