There is hope for me after all!

I am new to writing and always thought people had to write 8-12 hours a day to finish a novel while working a full-time job. I found Scrivener and was happy to read that writers (some published no less) write only 1000 words a day or set a timer to write an hour or so per day.

That’s comething I can easily do too. I can get a short story done in about two weeks or a novel in a little over 3 months!

This has really got the fire going for me… NaMo here I come!

Thanks, Chris

When I’m starting a story, I’ll work for a set amount of time each day.

When I edit, I’ll set my target at processing a block of text, whether that be a scene or chapter…

I couldn’t write a novel in three months. I could write the first draft, but the editing would take another six or nine, or twelve…

Oh yea, editting… can’t forget about editting…
