Third party Android app

I just downloaded this beta app on my Android, so can’t feedback yet. It’s not from the L&L team, but maybe a workaround until the official Android app is released: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.paavandesign.scrivdroid

The developer depends on Google Drive.

You should note this: Google Drive Advisory / Cloud Syncing / Knowledge Base - Literature and Latte Support, aside from noting that you would not be able to expect support for lost work from L&L.

I pictured you saying this with pursed lips.

I’m trying out Scrivdroid right now. It’s pretty bare-bones and probably not for those without a good grasp of how their devices work.

The first time you start up the app, there’s a message that recommends using Syncthing to sync files between desktop and mobile device on your local network. I’m trying that too because what’s life without needless excitement?

This software is completely worthless. The hierarchy of folders is completely chaotic, and the same document appears in multiple places.
I’m rewriting a tool that can parse Scrivener projects and it’s all metadatas. I’ll make it available as open-source code on Github. The tool will also include built-in WEBDAV synchronization functionality.
