Toggle Case

The ability to assign a keyboard shortcut to toggle Case from Upper to Lower and vice versa.

Three clicks of the mouse to get to something that could be a single key combo really slows things down and interrupts the flow.

Oops, sorry! Forgot to check the platform in the user information. I’m not on my Windows machine right now, but I thought you could change shortcut keys via Tools > Options… I may be wrong, though - I’ll leave it to the Windows team to set you straight, while I shuffle off…

Yeah, this one can’t be done on Windows at the moment; it’s possible to reassign shortcuts in the “Keyboard” tab of Tools > Options… but at the moment that only works for menu options that already have shortcuts, which Upper/Lower Case do not. This is on the list, though, as we’d like to be able to have users create shortcuts for any menu items.

It’d be in my top 3 for your next update. One of the first things I do when learning a new programme is assign/re-assign keyboard shortcuts so that I can use the same key combos across the programmes I use daily. Mouse control is always a last resort, mainly because it’s slow, and partly because too much of it makes my wrist hurt!

If you could sort out a key combo for no wrist or back pain I’d be very grateful…
