Tracking or finding documents by word count, organizational tools

I have a project that got much bigger than originally planned and I’m having serious regrets and headaches over not using keywords or statuses or literally any kind of organization as I wrote.
It’s made up of short stories varying significantly in length from 200 - 150k words. I’m hoping to figure out a way to quickly identify the documents with smaller word counts so I can expand on the shorter ones without manually going through the 600+ documents. Is there any way to sort, search, or filter by length?

Truthfully, I haven’t used the organizational tools, much. If there’s not already a built in way to search/filter this, what would be the best workflow to make tracking this possible going forward? Would it be keywords with word count ranges, or custom statuses, or what would you do?

You could use the Outliner for this. Select your base “story folder” (could be Manuscript or whatever) in the Binder and then hit 3, add a word counter column * (words or total words) and then you can sort the Outliner by that column.

* View → Outliner Options or right-click on the Outliner column headers.
