Tweeting from Scrivener 3

Is it doable, if so How?

I’ve located a setting in Preferences but the UM is vague about taking things further.

If it isn’t, then I’m baffled by the presence of the setting.

Hi,

I’ve replied to your message about this in the Wish List: you can tweet your writing progress from Project > Show Project Targets.

All the best,
Keith

I honestly cannot work out how to do it, Keith. I don’t understand

With Scrivener open, click on Projects in the menu bar. Select Show Project Targets. Then click on the blue Twitter icon shown in the pop up window.

As the others have indicated, it’s at Project | Show Project Targets.

If you don’t see the little blue Twitter icon, you’ll need to go into Options to turn it on.

Edit:
Hmm, I notice from your screenshot in the other thread that you don’t seem to have the Twitter option in the target options. Not sure what would cause that. You might need to set up your Twitter account in your mac System Preferences | Internet Accounts

Thanks - you’ve helped a lot

I recently learned how to go into system preferences and turn on posting from Scrivener to Twitter, but yesterday I downloaded Mojave and now I am unable to post from one to the other. Worse yet, when I go into system preferences to add Twitter again, it will not allow me to. Will Mojave not allow this action?

I don’t use twitter but do know Mojave removed 3rd party social media accounts:

Yep, this will no longer work on Mojave since Apple has removed the feature.
