Typewriter Sounds?

I am utterly in love with Scrivener. It is definitely going to become my main writing program with one or two programs as backups. Thank you for bringing it to Windows!

I know this won’t be high on the list of things to do but I’m a dork and LOVE the typerwriter sounds I get when I’m working in Writemonkey and previously when I used Q10. Is there any chance in the future that this functionality could be added to Scrivener? I don’t know if the Mac version has this capability so I figured I’d put it out here.

No, it doesn’t, though every once in a while someone asks for it. :slight_smile: I still have an old Olivetti in the closet that I haul out when I need to hear that noise.

Then the neighbours complain.

Darn, I guess that means a “no” for this being a feature in a future release. So very close to perfection. :laughing: I guess I shall have to reacquaint myself with no typewriter sounds while writing.

I think this is the only reason I still sometimes use Q10. The typewriter noise gets me into a rhythm.

I’m addicted to that sound myself, and was slightly disappointed when i saw Scrivener doesn’t include it.

Ooh, thanks for the tip! I like the sounds too, and on my Mac version, I downloaded keyclick, but that won’t work for Windows, so hopefully, this will do the trick.
