Unable to Download in Windows, is this a firewall problem?

Hi

I’ve just bought Scrivener and I am unable to download it. Every time I click to download, a tab appears and then vanishes. I’ve had a look at similar threads and it seems that my firewall is the problem. Has anyone had similar problems? If so, what is the best way to fix it?

Quick update, I use Chrome as standard and so I first tried to download it through there. Then I switched to Edge and now I’ve got an error message that states:-
“scrivener.exe can’t be downloaded securely”
How do I fix this?

How do you start the download, e.g. from which website?

(That’s the one you want: Download Scrivener | Literature & Latte)

I start it from Outlook
