Quite suddenly, I can’t set a session target from the Project Targets menu. I’ve set a Draft target which I can amend but the button to amend the session target (words/characters) is greyed out. I wouldn’t have noticed except I was changing the target, accidentally changed to 259 words and now can’t amend it.
I’ve done all the quitting and re-opening and restarting the Mac stuff but with no luck.
Any thoughts?

Click the “Options” button at the bottom of the target dialog.
Uncheck “Deadline”
That or :
One or the other. If you have no use for a deadline data, uncheck the first. Simply.
If you leave the first checked, second one unchecked, you’ll get an info line at the bottom of the target dialog telling you the set date for your deadline and how many days you’ve got left.

(I believe that this info line is new. (?) It has been requested quite recently.)
