Unrecognized Real Word[NOTED]

This is super insignificant but I thought it might be worth noting. The dictionary doesn’t recognize “unfazed” as a word. Which…is a bit odd, considering it’s most definitely a word. But then, considering the bigger more important bugs, this one clearly belongs way, way down on the priority list.

I’ve had Scrivener not recognize some common words too. I usually just highlight the word, right-click, and select Learn Spelling to add it to the dictionary (its vocab is rather limited!)

Oh yeah, I added it to the learned dictionary, but figured I oughta let Lee and the gang know about the wonky vocab recognition.

They are just using the Aspell library, which comes with its own dictionaries. In my experience, every dictionary needs a training period as I have yet to come across one that encompasses the full breadth of the English language (I bet it’s no different with other languages, too).

Just out of curiosity, is anyone actually able to make the learned spelling stick? Mine is still not holding the learned spelling between sessions.

literatureandlatte.com/scriv … DICTIONARY

That is a known bug, so something that is going to be addressed in a future update I believe. (So no, your not crazy  )

I thought I remembered reading that, which is why I thought it was strange people were indicating they were having the dictionary learn. Guess it may work for some, but not for the unfortunate ones among us.
