The type size in all files has been abruptly changed, possibly due to an accidental key stroke when bringing my hands away from the keyboard. I may have touched the space bar and some other key. Dozens of text files suddenly displayed type much larger than the default, which is 13 point Times New Roman.
The files were set to ‘No Style’ and most were converted individually after I learned about the utility of that setting. I now realize I did not check the ‘Remove All Style’ option when making the conversions. Two other projects were open at the time of the big slam and were not affected.
Any insight as to a possible blanket recovery will be appreciated. Otherwise, I will again do the conversions as I edit each file. Thanks
First thing I would check is that it’s actually the font setting that has changed vs. just the editor zoom, which seems more likely. If you click into the text in the editor, what font size is reported in the format bar above? (You can toggle it on with View ▸ Text Editing ▸ Format Bar if you don’t see it.) Likewise, what is the editor footer displaying as the zoom setting (shown on the left side)?
The editor’s zoom would apply for all text documents and would be much easier to change inadvertently with a shortcut or a mouse wheel. It’s also simple to set back to whatever you want by clicking the zoom control in the footer.
