Unwanted Gap Before Each Scene In Compile

I get this :

It is not perfect, but it is much better than what you get.

That looks like the same issue to me, mine is just more apparent because of the script formatting I think.

I reckon it’s a (yet another Windows) bug

I think the Scriv team really need to start focusing on Windows to catch up a bit, it’s been lagging behind the Mac vers for years now.

Maybe :man_shrugging:

Well, I am out of suggestions for the moment. We tried all that I could think of

Lets try one last thing before we (or I) give up :

  • Change your header(s) for “general text” :
    image
(In the editor, click on the header, then change it at the bottom right of the editor.)

  • Format it (later them, if that works for you) manually using the format bar.
    image

  • Compile

If that works, create a new style for your headers from the one header you manually formatted, and apply it to your other headers, after switching them to “general text” too.

I think we have a ‘Eureka!’

That seems better.

I went to change as you instructed, but found that my scene headings were (oddly) set as ‘General Text’. So I tried switching them back to 'Scene Headings (as they should’ve been), and viola!

Thanks for all your patience and help. I think that’s cracked it.

Gracias Vincent
