Hmm, maybe I want to revive the topic, I am new, I need to relearn using scrivener, there are numerous ways, but I of course look for the “fast route” I am glad to see that at least a discobot says hello, this is nice.
I am not sure I am struggling, but I did purchase both a Mac license and a windows license but of course have lost any references to that, however, I can access some of the files I wrote at one point in time. Not sure I can find the two little books I created with scrivener and published using create a space- most things change and die along the way. Still, I do occasionally get a tiny bit of money from a book sale on Amazon site.
And I receive a yearly pittance from a Canadian site with much gratitude to a gentleman named Fred Kerner -who told me writers should be paid! I truly was so proud of that, -still am actually -someone somewhere has paid me dollars for “words of wisdom” you just have to love that.
anyway just dropped in to say hello!-Cally, an old lady writer
CreateSpace is no more, it was merged into Amazon KDP. You should be able to login to Amazon with whatever account email you had back then and access your KDP Bookshelf.
Someone on the L&L staff can provide a more accurate answer but I think if you submit a request via their Contact Us form, they can retrieve your license info.
Thank You I may try that, The world has become more complex by the moment, yes I do believe creates space changed to KDP -I just recall it was very inexpensive to get my little books published -quite a thrill actually -I can find them on Amazon -I even bought a few to spread around to friends -They won’t
set the world on fire but they are mine -smile
I have a few more under my belt maybe -we will see -the pressure has gone with holding one in my hand
There is also a self-service page for serial number retrieval, which may get to you faster than support (although we’re pretty fast!). Do note that if it was purchased prior to 2019, the system may not find you. We recently updated the website and this older look-up form may not be working quite right yet.
