I am not able to upgrade scapple 1.5.0 → 15.1. There is no “check for updates” -menu, or I can’t find it anywhere. However, I downloaded the 1.5.1, but got a strange message, that something is locked on my Mac, and because of that an upgrade is not possible. Any help?
Did you maybe buy it from Apple’s store? You aren’t allowed to update software individually like that, if so, you have to use their store software to check for updates and apply them.

Yes, I bought Scapple from Apple store, but It is not possible to upgrade via store. Should I remove that one, and buy a new one from your store?
That’s odd, it should be showing the update. Maybe the app store is stuck for some reason. I would try reinstalling it, which would result in downloading the latest version anyway, even if it doesn’t “see” the update.
I reinstalled Scapple, but it is still 1.5.0.
I’m not sure then. I think you would need to contact Apple support and let them know that your computer isn’t downloading the latest version from the store. They might be able to help you reset a cache or something I’m not aware of.
