Use Case for Scene Summaries in Novel Structure (not Screenplay)

I’m still troubleshooting a Novel Outline process using Synopsis, and ran across something I’d forgotten about, the Scene Summary, symbolized by a blue triangle icon. From the rather cursory treatment of this in the Manual, it seems to me this was included for screenwriters and accommodates “populate information into the “scene summaries” feature in Final Draft, and using Fountain syntax for the same.” (Are they talking about the app Final Draft, or the final draft stage? I don’t know.)

Is anyone using Scene Summaries in a Novel structure and if so what is the use case?
thanks.

Not part of Scrivener.
That is a feature of final draft.

Yes
