Using Scrivener with Evernote

Does anyone know if it is possible to sync evernote notebooks with Scrivener’s research files? If I use evernote to capture ideas/research, can I easily import into my current project in Scrivener?

This — or something like it — has been put forward a number of times over the past couple of years, but as far as I remember, Keith either hasn’t or hasn’t found a way to implement it yet, or there is some more technical problem.

Perhaps, Keith’ll come in, but the straight answer here, is “No you can’t”.

Hi, I’m new to Scrivener, having been using Evernote extensively to write my books (and before that YeahWrite!). I’ve seen several people talking about exporting files from Scrivener to Evernote on this forum, which would certainly be useful, but is there any way for me to efficiently and usefully import all my existing files from Evernote into Scrivener so I can get started with it? I really don’t want to copy and paste text files one by one, but that’s the only way I can see to do this at the moment. Can anyone advise?

The key question it seems to me is: what file formats can Evernote export in? If it can export files in any of the formats Scrivener can handle, you’ll have no problem (see Chapter 11.1 in the Manual, under the Help menu).

You may even be able to go further, with “Import and Split”. Again see the Manual.

Googled “export evernote rtf”, got this article as the top hit:
