I’m using Scapple as a mind map for a character outline.
To define this character’s characteristics and behaviours (a complex coercive controller/abuser), I’m pulling paragraphs from study books in Kindle. Which means A LOT of cutting and pasting from Kindle to Scapple.
The problem is that every paragraph pasted has a different reference point for the Kindle book, like this:
Hennessy, Don. The Mind of the Intimate Male Abuser: How He Gets into Her Head (Kindle Locations 415-416). Cork University Press. Kindle Edition.
Removing this reference from every paragraph is getting laborious. A quick Find and Replace (where the replace box is empty) would remove them in seconds. However, the Kindle Location changes for every Copy and Paste.
So, my question is:
How can I use wildcards for the location numbers, so my Find string looks something like this:
Hennessy, Don. The Mind of the Intimate Male Abuser: How He Gets into Her Head (Kindle Locations ???-???). Cork University Press. Kindle Edition.
I suspect this is an OS question rather than a Scapple question.
