Ventura?

No issues with non-appstore, here.

Then I’m not sure why you’re bothering to post that info

A thread like this, which goes beyond the issue you reported, is good for sounding out how the OS update is working, or not working in the real world. Positive reports are just as useful to us as negative reports as they give us a sense of whether this or that is something happening to almost everyone, or only a few.

Seems to be working fine for me on Ventura (3.2.3)

I seem to have lost the ability to compare snapshots. I can see the original text of the snapshot version, but clicking ā€œCompareā€ results in a blank pane where the comparison text should be.

Yes, that is a known bug we’ve already got written up. Thanks!

Hi All,

Is Scrivener 3.1.5 compatible with macOS Ventura? I’m wanting to make the long-overdue upgrade from Mojave 10.14.6.

Thanks for your help.

The latest version is 3.2.3 and it works with Ventura, apart from some issues with Stage Manager that have been reported here.

The latest version (3.2.3) is.

Just updated to Ventura on an intel mac

Scrivener is all good here

No issues

No. 3.1.5 is not compatible.

Upgrade to 3.2.3, which is the current version and a free upgrade for all Mac Scrivener 3.x users.

I’ve just bitten the bullet and upgraded my MBA to Ventura. No probs; Scrivener seems to load even more quickly.

Haven’t even looked at Stage Manager and I’m not even sure it’s something I’d be interested in using, so I’ll just sit back and wait!

Same think for me. I can see the original but not the comparison of versions since upgrade to ventura

Any idea when a new Ventura-vetted version will come out?
Yes, when installing the system, I got the corrupt scrivener message and reinstalled. I’m using 3.2.3. One of the biggest serious Ventura problems I’m having is the snapshots not working. They show up, but you can’t use the compare feature. This is a huge issue for me. I used to have 50 copies of things because I’d rewrite so much, until I discovered snapshots, and it felt like a god-send… except now they don’t work and I’m stuck again. I feel like there are other little glitches/things I come across, but this is the main one that comes to mind because I’ve been stuck without for months now.

The snapshot problem is fully explained in that thread.

Same here. When I click changes in snapshots, I see blank. Is there any upgrade to solde that with Ventura?

Check the link @xiamenese gave above.

Scrivener now seems to be working with Ventura (that the IT of our university asked me to adopt with a very short notice)… I had to delete the Scrivener app, though, and then install it back. In between, it kept asking me to buy the app or to give my user ID and license number – which I didn’t have and couldn’t find… I sent a request for it, and the page promised to send it to me – but I never received it (or not for an hour).
Almost had a heart failure…

See I lost my licence number, what can I do to get it back? / Purchasing and Installation / Knowledge Base - Literature and Latte Support

Until you get your license back and store it securely for future use, you can use the demo version for quite some time. I store license codes in 1Password. Paper works too.

(mystery why you had to delete the app to upgrade the macOS, but I guess that a university thing. Normal Apple OS upgrade process would not have req’d that. Oh well).
