View labels directly in binder

I was wondering whether it is possible to view labels in the binder, not just in the outliner (and if not, whether this functionality could be added in the future). I would find it very useful to see what label is assigned to a file, e.g. by placing a colored circle next to it or by changing the icon, without having to switch to the outliner every time I want to see what label I’ve assigned to a file in the past.

…and I almost forgot to mention that you can also (and on top of that) have the label’s color in the documents’ icon ; which then serves the same purpose, but a bit more everywhere.
