Visible target count for whole Draft

Hi, I am working on a translation of a book, and I would love to be able to see how far I am getting, session wise and totally. I only know the approximate total character number for the book as a whole.

Is there any way of changing the view so that the “Target”-feature from the individual documents would be showing the target and progress bar for my whole Draft in stead (as entered in Show Project Targets) in the bottom right corner of the window?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

No, there’s no way to do this - the only way of having your entire draft target open is to keep the project targets panel open (it will hover over the top of the other window so can always be visible). We do have plans of adding the ability to see this progress bar in the main window in a future version, though.

All the best,
Keith

I’d like to second the request to add Project Targets to the Outliner window. I don’t want to have to keep a separate window open to see the total count for my book, and for the session. This is important info that I need to see every session. At least add a Toolbar icon so It’s quicker to access! Thanks.

Isn’t that what we get when we click on the “Targets” Button in the menubar ? A running total of how many words in the current session ?
