Webinar Library page

Hello, I just discovered that there is a webinar library tucked inside this website.
Maybe I am a bad cyber surfer but I think this page is not easy to find if you don’t know the exact address.

I agree should have a direct link when open the Learning page alongside the video tutorials. Oliver does a great job and a wealth of good topics. I believe the traffic to the site would increase dramatically especially for new users if this learning tool was displayed more prominently.

Definitely a hidden gem. How to be notified about future Webinars?

There is (allegedly) a newsletter, but I’ve been signed up for ten years and never got one.

I receive newletters, last on 26/10/2021.

I also receive the newsletter. Signed up years ago. Spotted this on Twitter today, new webinar upcoming. It would be great if info on these was also sent via the mailing list, I’m sure there are a lot of people here who, like me, are on social media pretty infrequently.

There were webinars yesterday! One of which I definitely would have signed up for. Hope there’ll be videos posted, and could someone from L&L please let us know how to stay up to date on these?

You can refer to this page for signup information on the webinars.

That page also has information for writing groups or classes to schedule sessions with Oliver.

Thanks @RuthS, have bookmarked the page. I found it via the tweet I posted earlier, and. see there’s a big banner re webinars on the homepage! I think it would be very useful to the community if webinar details were circulated via the mailing list, or posted here in the forum. I can’t be the only person who never visits the homepage anymore, I just come straight to the forum. Thanks, and ignore if I’ve missed those notices

There’s a newsletter? Where do you sign up?

Yes, that was also the last one I received. It was an announcement about the Webinars rolling out.

At the very bottom of https://www.literatureandlatte.com/, you sign up under “Keep up to date”.

Best,
Jim

Hi everyone, a link to the webinar library has been placed on the main page, just below the line.

Unfortunately we can’t add this to the learning page presently as it will require a deeper level reorganisation of our site. However, we are making some larger changes to the site shortly, so I’ll make a note to move the library link into the learning area then.

Re: the newsletters, as L&L has grown we’ve had to move to using a bulk email service which is very wary of their users sending anything that could be perceived as spam, so it may be that some addresses have been wrongly flagged by them and have fallen off the list. Next time we send a newsletter I’ll announce it on our @ScrivenerApp social media feeds (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) - if you haven’t received anything then please register again by following JimRac’s instructions. Maybe we need to make the sign up link for that more prominent, too - thanks for the feedback!

Fantastic the webinars are a great resource, and see different approaches to the software deepens your understanding

Glad to see that the Webinar Library | Literature and Latte has got more Webinars in it. I was going to ask about that. But it has already been done. :slightly_smiling_face:
