I got Scrivener yesterday and was copy-pasting my existing work into it. Everything worked fine. But when I started writing I noticed that my Scrivener seems to have a problems with apostrophes. I use Scrivener on my German computer with a QWERTZ keyboard, system language set to German, Scrivener system language set to German as well, but this particular project’s autocorrect language set to English. Now when I write words like didn’t, isn’t or brother’s I get this: didn‹t, isn‹t, brother‹s (I copy-pasted this from Scrivener, I don’t even know how to type this weird little thing).
The issue has nothing to do with my keyboard, at least I think so, because if I type any of those words in Microsoft Word for instance, they end up how they’re supposed to (they do so here as well, obviously). The key is the one on the left, the one that types a # or a '.
I haven’t found anybody else who reported this particular problem. Is it a bug or what is it?
