Hello,
I frequently open the show project bookmarks window with ⇧⌘B. Usually to close a window, you simply repeat the same command (like with the show hide binder command), but with the bookmarks, if I press ⇧⌘B, I end up in variants of the bookmarks window, and escape does not close it either.
My question is: after opening the bookmarks window with ⇧⌘B, what is the shortcut to quickly close it ?
thank you very much
In theory (and as the menu suggests) it should be the same shortcut. But it’s not. ⌘
W
works – but be careful. If the bookmarks window is not the top window, you may accidentally close your Scrivener project.

Thank you. I tested your method and works perfectly. Bungler that I am, I am sure that I will end up closing projects from time to time.
thanks a lot !

Weird thing is… the actual menu entry works (when you click on it) “as advertised”. But the corresponding keyboard shortcut does not.
