I hit return after three lines, and this thing showed up and now I can’t get rid of it. it’s even floating over other apps, including this forum. I’m unable to do anything else in the scriv file I was working in, tried rebooting, tried restarting scriv sev times.
Esc closes it.
The document you are in got toggled to script mode.

Likely you’ve hit Ctrl-8 by accident. It happens now and then.
