I’m puzzled about the meaning of the third icon. I don’t really know how I came up with it. It’s not something related to the icon only, it looks like a slightly different item.
For example, in the bottom bar of a normal scene (white icons) there is the word count.
Interesting question… where should I look for such mode? I’m a newbie and a lot of features are obscure to me.
Oh, I almost forgot an important piece of information: I’m running the RC of the upcoming Scrivener 3. Dunno if it is something related to new version.
Format, Scriptwriting, Script Mode- Screenplay. You can also toggle it by selecting the document in the Binder and hitting Ctrl-4. But if Scriptwriting mode is turned on, the icon in the menu will be selected.
With the default key binding it’s easy to accidentally turn on.
Another thing you may want to do is have a look at the manual, section 7.1 Binder Icons. That will explain what you’re seeing, as well as give you a heads up on the other types of icons you may see in the future.
Also, FYI, for any further beta-related questions or bugs you find, you’re best off posting them in the Scrivener for Windows beta test forum. That way other beta testers and the devs read it and respond much more quickly and we don’t clog up the normal forums for folks who haven’t made the switch to the (technically) unsupported beta versions yet. Everyone wins!
