When I type, both lag and duplicated letters

When I type, there is a lag on and off and some letters are duplicated.

step 1, reboot. step 2 search here if issue previously reported and solved. step 3 if continues check Activity Log to see if some process hogging CPU.

I will try this first in apple → sys pref, and them go on a hunt for another keyboard. thanks again
