I get my all my headings setup the way I want them. I even press the save button. Same with chapters I set up my Chapters just he way I want them I start adding text and and suddenly a bunch of new chapters are created and ones I’ve worked on or lost. Is it because I have not bought the program yet? Still on trial. I’m not buying with all the problems Ive had.

No, it’s nothing to do with the trial, which is fully featured. It works exactly the same way: the only difference is the time limit.
It’s not really possible to guess what your problems are, though, because you haven’t given us enough details to go on. Are you in the main editor, or in the compilation dialogue? How are you setting up the headings? Where are the new chapters created? and so on.
However, it sounds like you haven’t yet done the Interactive Tutorial (on the Help menu). The best possible advice anyone can give you is to do this as soon as possible – it will only take an hour or so to skim through. Once you’ve done this, you’ll be in a position to understand and make the best use of Scrivener’s features.
There’s a very good chance that it will resolve any problems you’re having at the moment, but even if it doesn’t, it will give you the vocabulary (i.e. the Scrivener terms) for the features you’re trying to use, so that you can describe the problems to us and we can try to help.
