Because you’re in single document mode, not Scrivenings mode, so you’re viewing the text content of the folder (Scrivener folders are not operating system directories and can have content.) which in this case is blank.

Ah, yes, didn’t notice I must have turned that off accidentally.

Thank you!

To further clarify if you aren’t familiar with Group View modes:

Each folder can be viewed four ways:

  1. Corkboard, a group view mode of the contents of the folder in the form of index cards
  2. Outline, a group view mode of the contents of the folder in the form of an outline or list
  3. Scrivenings, a group view mode of the folder and its contents (including anything in the folder’s top document) in the form of a continuous document
  4. The folder’s own document with no Group View mode selected as a single document

If you want to view the contents of the folder all at once, you’ll want to be in Scrivenings mode which you can access via View → Scrivenings or by clicking the icon with the two overlapping documents to the right of the Quick Search bar in the standard toolbar configuration.

Thank you very much for the very good overwiev! Yes, all views found / seen now.

Many thanks again!
