I just updated my computer to Windows 10 and lost my activation information and cannot get on scrivener. What do I need to do???
First, did you deactivate Scrivener before upgrading?
If not, you may have to roll back to your previous version of Windows (7 or 8.1, whichever), deactivate, then upgrade again and reactivate.
For whatever reason, it seems that the activation process sees Windows 10 as a different machine even though it’s not.
At least, that’s what I’ve read elsewhere (either here on this forum or on other forums).
It’s also possible that, with the help of one of Scrivener’s staff, you may be able to get around all that.
