I would like to request that the word count and page count be displayed in the editor page in the footer. In addition to that, would like to see the entire manuscript word / page count also displayed. Displayed full time (configure in settings) and not have to mouse over for a popup
Remember that page-count in Scrivener is calculated on a number of words per page that you can enter in the settings. It can only be an estimate until you compile.
That being said, I think it would be nice to expand the drop-down list with options for either words or characters to a list of checkboxes containing more statistics than just the one.
That’s what a Statusbar is for, isn’t it?
Showing more than one type of statistic at once is indeed already on the list for improvement for the Windows version.
