When I do the “save web page” option to save a Youtube video for research, the page that is saved in Scrivener always has the actual Youtube video twice, stacked one above the other, and they both play at the same time when clicking onto the page in the Research folder.
This is a bug in Apple’s web kit and the way it saves .webarchives (which Scrivener uses internally to save web pages). It’s best not to save YouTube pages that way anyway - it’s much better to download the videos and import them as video files rather than as web pages (there are several free utilities on the web for downloading YouTube videos, I believe).
Gotcha. Thanks for the incredibly fast reply. Love the 2.0 update btw. I’m a director at Funny or Die and have been introducing all the writers to the awesomeness that is Scrivener.
