Anyone know the limits for images in Scrivener projects?

Advanced image management approaches

I’m using linked PDF images in a project. I would like to be able to control their size, but I see this is not possible to do. Is there an alternative vector graphic format to be used instead of PDF, and that can be resized in Scrivener? This should be as good for compiled eBooks and PDF files. Also: is there a way to have images resized in different ways, depending on the Compile format? For example, I have linked screenshots in TIFF that look good at 100% in ePubs, while they are too big in …
