How to change fonts of PDF output

I found out how to change the fonts for the editor. However, if I compile the project, it doesn’t seem to take the font I wanted. In Compile Overview > Assign Section Layouts… I selected “As is” for the scenes. Then the fonts are as used in the editor, but now a new page for each section is being produced. How can I achieve to have my chapters and scenes to appear in my fonts?

Go to your compile format (double click it in the list, left side of the compile panel), and in layout, either set the right font for your section types/section layouts, or, uncheck “override text and notes…” at the bottom, for the concerned layouts. (If you used more than one font per document without applying style(s), you want to do the latter.)

There is also a global font override in the compile panel, in the middle, just above the preview. (That’s an all or nothing override. -As it is, it should currently be set to “determined by layout”.)

(That’s from memory. The names may differ a little…)

Also refer to this thread, for tips on compiling a more vanilla output. You can reverse engineer and scale back a more opinionated compile Format, but it’s often easier to just start with one that doesn’t do much to begin with.
