I have a Section in my upcoming book Mastering Scrivener telling you exactly how. For now there are two posts that I learned it from… Essentially, the .scrtheme file is a Zip with four files. One of them is a .pal Palette file, containing color codes for the UI. Other colors are defined in the .QSS Stylesheet.
To begin with, I would like to say I love Scrivener 3 for Windows and it is an irreplaceable software for me that I work in every day.
However, since it came out, I have trouble figuring out how to manage themes…
First of all, whenever I try to customize any other theme than “Default”, it doesn’t allow me to change the color of the entire Binder column (as you can see in the printscreen).

Secondly, I can’t find any way to save…
I’ve been trying to make the theme and setup for the visuals on my Scrivener 3 as pleasing as possible, but I’ve ended on a slightly modified version of the Dark mode and I can’t wrap my brain around creating visually pleasing themes for my fantasy novel.
While researching more about Scrivener I happened upon Abbie from WritersLifeWednesdays on Youtube and one of the themes she created blew me away. But as it was on mac, there is no way to download and integrate it into my scrivener.
