Indication in binder of which document the cursor is in

Pretty self explanatory. Most of the time I’m working I have multiple documents open in the editor, but I can never tell which is the one I’m currently working. Can we get a little ball or a highlight or something in the binder which indicates which is currently being edited? Look at Spotify (or any other media player), if you don’t know what I mean. When you play a song there is a little “sound” icon next to the currently playing track.

There’s been a lot of debate on that matter and it does not seem the current behaviour is going to change any time soon. There are powerful reasons for that (check this link).

But anyway, you can press Ctrl-Shift-8 at any time to have the binder in sync with the current document.

The issue being discussed in that thread is a different issue. I don’t want the binder to update itself or move or do anything when you change documents. I simply think it would be helpful to have a little icon in the binder next to the document that the active cursor is in (if it’s visible in the binder.)
