Can we please get separate color options for the editor and background when in page view? Having them be the same color is entirely antithetical to why someone would use page view in the first place.

This has been an issue for years (see Page View display bug in Screenplay Mode? , https://www.reddit.com/r/scrivener/comments/ow3j09/i_cant_change_the_background_color_in_page_view/) and it still hasn’t been addressed, despite it seemingly being a feature on Mac.

Is this a planned feature/something that’s being worked on? Will have to drop scrivener for the time being, unfortunately.

Why haven’t you tried File > Options > Appearance > Page View > Colors > Background?

I’ve tried that. As shown in the picture, the background and the page always have the same color in Scrivener Windows.
