Scrivener APA 7th customised

Hey there!

I have customised the APA Style Paper for my own needs. I added some of my requirements. Hope you find it useful.
Things I’ve added so far:

  • <$hn> will add as a prefix to the title. Will be added while compile for three levels
  • Index Page with automatically added hierarchical numbers during compile.
  • auto text for the Title Page.
  • Standard font to Arial 12. Line-Height 1.5
  • 3 Headings according to our requirements.

I’ve attached my template with some notes as well as the style to compile.

Gerwin,
How would I change the font from Arial 12, Line-Height 1.5 to Times New Roman 12, Line-Height 2 (as required by my university?

Hey Dennis!
First change the standard format to Times with all the adjustments you need for your paper. Second change the font in the edit format in the compiling window. You have to do that for all the level one to three texts.
Have a look through the project settings and change the fonts here as well.
The default font scrivener used was Helvetica. So it took me a bit to find all the standard settings to change.

After you’ve done this, you could save the settings and your custom compile format.

Hope this helps!

Wishing you smooth writing and lots of inspiration.
