Sponsors of NaNoWriMo 2010

Hi all,

In case you had missed it, we are proud sponsors of NaNoWriMo 2010, just as we were of NaNo '09. Once more we have special offers for new (and Windows) users available (I’m sorry we can’t afford to offer discounts on upgrade pricing, but the price is too low for us to reduce it any further  ). Our official forum thread is here:

nanowrimo.org/eng/node/3699389

There are also a couple of threads about Scrivener in the NaNo Technology forums:

nanowrimo.org/eng/forum/188

(So don’t start any new ones, otherwise Apollo16 will have your guts for garters. )

Many thanks to the kind souls who are recommending us over there.

It’s great to be able to sponsor NaNoWriMo again. Many of our first users came from the beta we posted on those very forums back in 2005, so it’s good to be able to give something back.

Good luck with your 50,000 words if you’re participating in the insanity this year.

All the best,
Keith

Woof!

Mr Apollo
When dealing with newbies, an acerbic mouthwash wouldn`t go amiss.
Take care

Dearest Fluff,

I believe that your assumption that Apollo16 is a Mr betrays a latent sexism that you so abhor in others. I believe that a search on the forums may provide you a different view of the appropriateness of your opening.

After the: My Lady Amber Goddess of Code/Mr Petra’ka debacle, nothing comes as a surprise anymore, aboard this old tub.

But it wasn’t a secret. See.

Young master Jaysen,
Unlike you and His Reverence, vic-k, I`ve better things to do with my time, than trawl through every thread on every forum, every day of every week of every mon… Apollo16 could even be, the, APOLLOfor all we know.

Shhh! Please! I have enough to do without having to deal with supplicants messing up the lawn. (OK… Technically, I live in the desert and have no lawn… but messing up the gravel just doesn’t have the same ring.)

Apollo16

Apollo,
you can have this treated with supplicant repellant

Apollo is a doggie?!
But…but…I thought he was this real hunky Greek god!
flops on the sofa and cries bitterly while chewing on chocolate-flavored doggie biscuits

Gods can turn themselves into all sorts of things. I don’t get around like Zeus but…

:unamused:

I’m doing NaNo this year, but I shall definitely not be claiming a discount on 2.0 when I hit my 50k word mark. The sheer amount of activity, focus and effort all round from L&L that’s gone into the last week or so alone would make me feel guilty for the rest of my life if I did
