Updates for the Windows version of Scrivener?

I bought Scrivener and Scrapple in a package deal back in 2017 or 2018 and worked happily with it for a few years. Then my writing activities stopped for a while. Now, I’d like to pick it up, again and I went back to Scrivener and Scrapple. I still like it, but my licence is not valuable, anymore.
I don’t mind paying again for the package (the makers should be rewarded, too), but I do want the newest version. And there’s my question: how new is the latest version available?

The difference between the latest Windows and Apple release note dates is quite large:

  • Scrivener Windows: July 2023
  • Scrivener Apple: Dec. 2024
  • Scrapple Windows: Dec. 2022
  • Scrapple Apple: March 2025

What does this mean? Are there no issues or updates necessary for Windows (unlike Apple) or is the support for Windows being phased out (unlike Apple)? I would like to know before I buy the newest Windows version.

If you bought Win Scrivener 1 on or after November 20, 2017, you’re entitled to a free upgrade: Upgrade to Scrivener 3 for Windows - Literature & Latte

No, we are not phasing out Windows support.

Thank you for your reply. Good to hear you’re not phasing out support.

I don’t mind paying again (reward for the makers), but I was wondering if there’s a package deal for Scrivener and Scapple together?
