Hey,
I have a dual monitor setup where I use my 27" iMac as the primary and a second 27" monitor for things like accessory panels.
Is there anyway to float things like the synopsis and notes panels so they can be dragged to my second monitor?

Actually… in full screen composition mode, the Inspector and QuickRef windows should be draggable to another screen. 
It would be nice if they were, in all three views – normal, full screen, and composition – but I think they are not.
Yeah. Or maybe an even more flexible approach. (Customizable / combined Inspector pane)
Quick reference panels can be dragged to another monitor, and they have a few features that can reveal elements from the inspector. Also of note, you can merge multiple QR windows into one tabbed window.
