The list hasn’t been updated in a while. Rog seems to have gone to ground. Very possibly in the throes of planning a certain novel. But in these uncertain times, one also needs to hope that all is well.
I’ve sent him an email enquiry and he’s not replied to it either. There has been a spike in UK coronavirus cases since September. Concerns and thoughts.
It’s well over a week, perhaps nearly two weeks, since he last updated the list. I have been trusting that he’s been too busy getting it all together for next Saturday, which is somewhat earlier in the calendar from previous years, but we all hope he’s OK in these troubling times.
Thanks for the concerns – you lot are super kind. All is well. Work has been busy and, yes, I’ve had my head down trying to get the plot together. Between those two I’m a bit behind in the registrations. I’m going through everything now to catch up.
Next year, I think I’ll probably see if I can find one or two volunteers to handle the registrations!
WangariMuchui, Catrad, naquada, John_Bryce, and mishmhem – welcome to NiaD!!!
RonjoI, Bindyjones, scrapsandsass, gothcabbage and thegirlclaudia – welcome back!
Kritty3311, and JoviGirl – I’ve had some submissions that didn’t let me know their forum names. I’ve emailed those people directly so please check your inboxes (and junk folders if necessary) as I’ll need to confirm who is who before I can add you to the list!
Styk – I couldn’t open your linked writing sample. I’ve emailed you as well, so please check your inbox / junk folder and get back to me!
I’m sitting at the laptop with a big pot of coffee, listening to probably my favourite of all the NiaD playlists I’ve made and bashing out the details of the plot. I have to say, I’m pretty excited about this year’s book!
I am on the list and my anticipation is building. I feel like I am settling down on my bull the gateman is reaching for the release handle. The clowns are yelling, “This is a big one boys, I hope it doesn’t kill him”,
I’m in with the disclaimer that I might fall out again. But more than likely, I’m in for the whole thing.
Thanks, Rog, for doing another one of these. It’s a great challenge and fun to see how everything fits.
