I think now is an appropriate juncture in the proceedings, to issue a stern warning to the participants, concerning the gratuitous sex and violence and Sado-Masochistic content. Can we have a lot more this year, please.
Good luck to you all, and have an enjoyable time. :-))

Sheesh, I was almost a no-show. I’d turned up here just to read this very post and could not get in with my time honored pw. Well, it didn’t help that I forgot who I was here. But, finally I’m in. I hope, the gremlins that started it all won’t put in an appearance on d-day.
So can this timeline thingy be used to outline the timeline for historical events in a story? I’ve been on the hunt for such a tool for some time now. In fact I still have the timeline I crafted from a tablet of graph paper strung across my wall.
Well, it’s just gone 9am in Truro, UK, so that means there are just under 15 hours to go until Novel-in-a-Day 3: With a Vengeance!
If you are one of the lucky 25 participants, you can expect an email from rog@pigfender.com at or just after midnight UK time with your briefing pack. Keep an eye out, and maybe add it to your address book to avoid the dreaded junk mail filter.
I can’t wait! Really looking forward to it. I have warned my husband that he is to furnish a constant supply of espresso tomorrow, even if I am already wild-eyed and shock-haired with caffeine overdose. Good luck everyone, and a big thank you in advance to Rog!
In spite of my reservations about my contribution last year, I really wish I was in this year …
But although I am allowed to take the splint off my left hand while I am in such “safe” (hah!) environments as home, and am encouraged to use it while typing for short stretches, after 5 weeks of immobilisation, I am having to re-educate it, and typing is somewhat uncomfortable and even slower than just using my right hand!
So I have to content myself with just looking forward to reading the new magnum opus.
A tad more than 12 hours now.
Thank you for your hard work that makes this possible pigfender; I am looking forward to your e-mail tomorrow, first thing in the morning
