December’s instalment of Dickens’s Bleak House consists of Chapters 39 to 42, originally published in March 1853. It looks as though we may be due for a legal focus in this month’s ration, with chapter titles “Attorney and Client”, “National and Domestic”, “In Mr. Tulkinghorn’s Room” and “In Mr. Tulkinghorn’s Chambers”.
